(More customer reviews)I ordered these for my fox terriers in the size recommended and they fit well AFTER I made additional holes in the strap so it was tight enough ( I needed a hole at least 2 inches from where the manufacturer's hole stopped) and the basket tends to rub the hair off the dog's muzzle so I glued sheepskin to nose bridge - it helps some. I also attached the muzzle to a buckle collar as my dogs are able to remove the muzzle when it's on by itself. This sounds like alot of complaints but compared to other basket muzzles this is a good one. And my dogs are much happier in them than the canvas muzzles.

(More customer reviews)If you need a muzzle because your dog is eating items that they shouldn't this is a great muzzle and will save you money and the agony of putting your dog though a very expensive and painful surgery to save the dog's life. I bought a 14 ½" for my four year old male Weimaraner so he can not eat golf balls and golf ball sized rocks when unattended in the yard. This muzzle is light weight and hard for the dog to remove and also allows the dog to open and close their mouth when they would like; however, this muzzle would not work for those of you that would like to stop your dog from barking. This is the first time for my dog to wear a muzzle.

(More customer reviews)This Muzzle, needed a much better description. I would have like to know that it was made out of plastic and only the strap was leather. It did hold up on my fmeale pit bull, and she was able to get out of it all the time. Also it didnt quite fit her right, she was not capable of eating thru the basket or drinking. And what is that little removable peice for in the front. When I removed it, there was little plastic peices sticking into her mouth and rubbing leaving marks. Not a well built muzzle.

(More customer reviews)I did not measure the size of the mussle, but took it from the chart based on a breed (irish setter). We decided to get a muzzle to keep him from eating poop of other animals when he is off leash in the park. The muzzle fits perfectly, we are very happy about that. It took him about two weeks to adjust; I was putting some peanut butter in the muzzle, keeping the muzzle on for several seconds at the beginning and up to a minute or two by the second week. Every time he had a muzzle on, we would play and have fun; after the muzzle is off do not pay attention to the dog, he should feel bored for a while. By the end of second week he was able to wear the muzzle for 10-15 min, and during the third week he was happily running in it for two hours. Sometimes he wants to remove the muzzle and struggles with it for thirty seconds, but it stays on, never became loose. Our dog is very hyper by breed, he was not able to adjust to "gentle leader" head leash (just hates it), but OK with this muzzle. He also swims in it if near the water and able to drink while swimming. He is still trying to eat poop, muzzle becomes dirty,(easy to clean) but at least this stuff is not in his mouth.

My dog does great with people, but not well with other dogs so this was perfect for those bi-annual visits to the vet office. This allows me feel more comfortable bringing him out in public (walks, vet, etc.) without worrying that someone's loose dog/cat may come too close to him.

(More customer reviews)OK so i just barely became privy to the fact that there are more sizes for dogs other then just s,m,l ... there are different sizes for muzzles.. i recently bought a muzzle from a different seller which was size four ... since it fit so well i decided that's my dogs size for muzzle... so i order a size four of this type of muzzle expecting it to work just fine not only because the first size four fit perfect but because of the picture of the dalmatian wearing it seemed to be about the same size of my dog.. however when i received the item this morning it was way too small! it might be my own fault but i think the seller should make it very clear wat sizes are going to fit which dogs
