(More customer reviews)I love love love this curve master presser foot! I thought I was really fast at curved piecing the old way, with pinning. When I got my new presser foot, in the midst of making a quilt with lots and lots of curves, I found out just how fast I could be. No pins, no picking out bad seams, no cussing or fussing. I was able to sew about 5 times as fast - and could do a more efficient assembly line style piecing instead of stopping to pin after each one. I will never sew a curve without it!! and the adapter included to fit my machine worked great. Well worth the price - has paid for itself already in the time saved.
As for use as a 1/4 inch foot for straight seams - it is ok if you are sewing shorter lengths, and with fabric that has a good amount of body. But if fabric is thin, or the seam is quite long, there is a sort of ruffling effect that will happen.

This is a slender needle that doesn't damage the material as larger needles might. I've been sewing white satin using these needles, and the results are very professional. (More customer reviews)This Muzzle, needed a much better description. I would have like to know that it was made out of plastic and only the strap was leather. It did hold up on my fmeale pit bull, and she was able to get out of it all the time. Also it didnt quite fit her right, she was not capable of eating thru the basket or drinking. And what is that little removable peice for in the front. When I removed it, there was little plastic peices sticking into her mouth and rubbing leaving marks. Not a well built muzzle.

Because installing the antiquated ribbon system with its falling-out spindles and unraveling film is an exercise in patience that I have failed miserably. The fact that I don't beat the person over the head that ordered this for me is a testimony to my restraint. I don't know what was paid for this machine, but if he didn't get it in a box of Cracker Jacks he paid too much. These types of machines can be had too cheaply to put up with this nonsense. Whew. Now let me go find my copy of Office Space!

(More customer reviews)Put on the correct machine, it worked very well. In fact I have sewn about 7 "market skirts" - dirctions for doing so for a little girl was on the internet as a free-bie , and another site told you how to make it fit an adult. Both little and big turned out well.
The ruffler saves a lot of time, and the gathering is uniform. When working with slick polyester, I had to put interfacing on the edges I was ruffling, but, by golly, I had to do so with straight sewing also.
Bottom line: if you need one, call the dealer and make sure it will fit your machine. I bought two through Amazon. One, the generic, cost $15 and postage paid; the other was $32.95 to fit a Janome. It was also postage paid. The generic fit both Brother and Janome, and the Janome fit only the Janome.

Italian Basket Muzzle - Size 7 - Tan Review

(More customer reviews)I did not measure the size of the mussle, but took it from the chart based on a breed (irish setter). We decided to get a muzzle to keep him from eating poop of other animals when he is off leash in the park. The muzzle fits perfectly, we are very happy about that. It took him about two weeks to adjust; I was putting some peanut butter in the muzzle, keeping the muzzle on for several seconds at the beginning and up to a minute or two by the second week. Every time he had a muzzle on, we would play and have fun; after the muzzle is off do not pay attention to the dog, he should feel bored for a while. By the end of second week he was able to wear the muzzle for 10-15 min, and during the third week he was happily running in it for two hours. Sometimes he wants to remove the muzzle and struggles with it for thirty seconds, but it stays on, never became loose. Our dog is very hyper by breed, he was not able to adjust to "gentle leader" head leash (just hates it), but OK with this muzzle. He also swims in it if near the water and able to drink while swimming. He is still trying to eat poop, muzzle becomes dirty,(easy to clean) but at least this stuff is not in his mouth.

(More customer reviews)As I am new to machine embroidery, this set was perfect. The numbers perfectly match the Brother color numbers which makes following patterns much easier. The thread is just as good as the Pacesetter thread that I had previously purchased and so far, I have had no breakages. There are two reasons why I have given this a 4 star rating. The first is the rack it came with is a total piece of junk. It came fully assembled but was put together wrong. The balsa-type wood is stapled together and if one row is "off" then 2 rows are unusable. I ended up using a plastic container to hold all the threads. The second reason is that the number stickers were falling off. As I wanted to keep the numbers on the thread, I used a sharpie marker to put the numbers on the plastic of each spool. All in all, I would purchase it again as the cost is SOOO much less than the local shop.
