(More customer reviews)Ordered these for my mother who had recently purchased a Brother CS6000I sewing machine, with uses the larger (11.5mm, 7/16th-inch) bobbins. Although (at least at the time of purchase) this product appeared when you searched for the correct Brother part number AND the CS6000I appeared as a buying suggestion on this item's product page, it is important to note that these bobbins are of the smaller type, therefore NOT compatible with the Brother CS6000I. Since "customers who bought this product also bought" the CS6000I, it looks as if it might be a common mistake.
The product itself seems to be of good quality if you need the smaller bobbins, but the important compatibility information that is present on the back of the packaging is missing on the product page.

Open Toe Darning Foot Review

(More customer reviews)This foot was shipped quickly from the Amazon vendor & works great on my Singer 201. Makes free-motion quilting a whole lot easier! The open toe makes it easier to see where you're headed. I did bend the little bar at the top to angle up so that it does NOT make the foot hop. I found the hopping & the noise it made to be annoying. I do wish the description was more specific as to low shank or high shank machines and/or gave more specific brands & models of sewing machines that these will work on including the older models that many of us still love and work better than some of the new plastic machines. You can't beat an old, all metal sewing machine!

This foot fits great, the adaptor isn't even necessary snaps right on. I make dog clothes and this foot works great for putting on the little sleeves. Saves time and hasle!

Singer Bobbin Case Review

Of course I needed it right away and opt to buy the metal which cost more but would hold up longer. I waited a couple of weeks to get it. I recieved the plastic $3.00 one instead of the $16 metal one I paid for. Now Im diappointed and wasted so much time and is short of time to finish up my projects

4 X-Large Spools of White Bobbin Thread. These are 60wt 2ply Filament Bobbin Thread. Each spool has 5000 meters of thread on it. This will last you a long long time and you do not need to worry about running out of Bobbin thread while Embroidering. Each spool is brand new and is individually shrink wrapped to prevent damage from dust. Polyester has little or no lint. Hence your machine will run longer between cleanings. This thread is very shiny appearance, thin, lightweight and yet extremely strong. Embroiders love this since it creates a soft backing, even on dense designs. Many machine quilters like using a filament poly thread in the bobbin. Due to it's slick surface, it works well with metallic threads and heavy cotton threads. The slickness of the filament poly thread does not snag or grab the top thread. NOTE: The colored Embroidery Threads are shown only to give you an idea about the size of the spools and are not included.

(More customer reviews)This is an example of user ignorance (not product problems). The foot looked like what we needed for our sewing machine, and my wife swore that it was the one she needed. However, when we got the item, it didn't work on her machine.
Shipping on it was so expensive, it wouldn't have been worth our effort to return the product. We were stuck with something we can't use.
But it wasn't the fault of the seller -- it was our own ignorance.
We finally travelled to a city where they sold the feet, and got a salesman to help us find what we needed.

Brother SA127 5mm Narrow Hem Foot Review

(More customer reviews)I bought this (and the distinctive narrow hem foot which is the same thing so stay away from that too imo)and tried to use it on anything. It will only work on lightweight fabrics and even then the stitching is hard to look uniform. The stitches look wonky and the hem is incredibly small (5mm or less). I decided to just go for it and get the "distinctive" rolled hem foot set which has seven different and USEFUL sized hems (like 1/4" and 5/8", etc.)and give you a chance to keep those hems clean and professional looking. It is $50 for the set, but i am so much happier to have hemming feet that actually work!

(More customer reviews)I found this item to be at a great price! Other places sold it for much more than Amazon. The shipping cost was also reasonable. I received the item very quickly.
I was a little disppointed because the instructions included with this item are vary vague and difficult to read. The pictures are small and not very detailed. However, I think the instructions are pre-packaged in the item so not necessarily a seller problem. I would just recommend searching for turtorial videos... I found quite a few on YouTube. This was a great help.
Be sure to practice before actually using this on a quilt. It's easy to learn!

Brother 1/4-Inch Quilting Foot Review

(More customer reviews)This foot helps you to create perfect 1/4 inch seams easily & quickly.
As another reviewer noted, it is important to check your needle
position after attaching this foot to your machine. The hole that
the needle passes through is small, and if your needle is not in the
correct position it will hit the foot and break.I have a
Brother CS 6000 and the default needle position is to the left,
instead of in the center. So, BEFORE you begin sewing with
this foot, you have to position your needle to the center. It is important
to remember this if you have been sewing with this foot, but turn the
machine off, because when you turn the machine on again the needle positon
will automatically revert to the left, and you will have to reset it to the
center before you begin sewing again.
If you cannot tell by eye if the needle is aligned with the hole in the foot
use the handwheel to gently lower the needle above the hole. This way you
will be able to see if it is aligned without breaking the needle.
This is a great price for this foot, as well.
