(More customer reviews)Ordered these for my mother who had recently purchased a Brother CS6000I sewing machine, with uses the larger (11.5mm, 7/16th-inch) bobbins. Although (at least at the time of purchase) this product appeared when you searched for the correct Brother part number AND the CS6000I appeared as a buying suggestion on this item's product page, it is important to note that these bobbins are of the smaller type, therefore NOT compatible with the Brother CS6000I. Since "customers who bought this product also bought" the CS6000I, it looks as if it might be a common mistake.
The product itself seems to be of good quality if you need the smaller bobbins, but the important compatibility information that is present on the back of the packaging is missing on the product page.

While the criticism about plastic parts is fair, the body is solid metal and heavy and the motor is extremely powerful. It's very easy to use, and the self adjusting tension is great, as I hate messing around with tension. the light could be brighter but overall I'm really happy with it. So far, all of the generic low shank feet I've bought have worked with it.

10 Spool Embroidery Thread Stand Review

(More customer reviews)Bought the wrong item. This thread stand is for the real large spools of thread, not the small (1100) threads for embroidering on my home embroidery machine. The thread stand is much larger than I anticipated. I suppose it would work but it's too big for my use. It's gray in color..I know, a bit picky but I prefer the white thread holders that are smaller and fit behind the machine. Will be returning it.

Singer 7442 Electronic Sewing Machine Review

(More customer reviews)Sews okay, although the foot feed is very sticky - that is, it won't go and won't go and then suddenly takes off like a goosed horse. Has several features I don't like much: needle ends stitch in "up" position which makes it hard to pivot; reverse lever is in a different spot than any other machine I have ever seen or used; "decorative" stitches aren't particularly good or decorative; satin stitch width and length is hard to program in, unravels and looks crappy; and, finally, the buttonhole feature has major problems [1] it starts at the bottom of the marked buttonhole rather than the top (hard to see if you are on course) [2] it works backward from any other buttonhole feature I've seen or used and [3] the buttonholes look very amateurish -even after all possible adjustments the stitches are too far apart so that the buttonhole frays and unravels, plus because the feature has a programmed backstitch to start, it often jams. So far these poor quality buttonholes have ruined two or three garments. The whole machine seems over-engineered. Note: I've been sewing mostly clothes for 50 years now and have used many brands of machine, this isn't the worst but it is the worst for the price.

4 X-Large Spools of White Bobbin Thread. These are 60wt 2ply Filament Bobbin Thread. Each spool has 5000 meters of thread on it. This will last you a long long time and you do not need to worry about running out of Bobbin thread while Embroidering. Each spool is brand new and is individually shrink wrapped to prevent damage from dust. Polyester has little or no lint. Hence your machine will run longer between cleanings. This thread is very shiny appearance, thin, lightweight and yet extremely strong. Embroiders love this since it creates a soft backing, even on dense designs. Many machine quilters like using a filament poly thread in the bobbin. Due to it's slick surface, it works well with metallic threads and heavy cotton threads. (More customer reviews)Awesome colors and a wide variety. Little dissapointed that there was only 4 blues out of all of the colors. If you have a brother sd200 the disney sewing machine the spools will not fit in the cartridge unless you modify the spools. The base is too large and will not fit unless you cut the plastic ring off the bottom. Not a huge issue for me but it takes a lot of time and energy to modify it. Other then that I am very happy with the quality of the thread and the colors.

(More customer reviews)As I am new to machine embroidery, this set was perfect. The numbers perfectly match the Brother color numbers which makes following patterns much easier. The thread is just as good as the Pacesetter thread that I had previously purchased and so far, I have had no breakages. There are two reasons why I have given this a 4 star rating. The first is the rack it came with is a total piece of junk. It came fully assembled but was put together wrong. The balsa-type wood is stapled together and if one row is "off" then 2 rows are unusable. I ended up using a plastic container to hold all the threads. The second reason is that the number stickers were falling off. As I wanted to keep the numbers on the thread, I used a sharpie marker to put the numbers on the plastic of each spool. All in all, I would purchase it again as the cost is SOOO much less than the local shop.

(More customer reviews)The thread ad was a little deceptive. They advertised as thread for Brother machines, which it isn't exactly. They never would give me a definite yes or no on the thread being made for Brother by Brother. I specifically asked them that and they said they had not had any negative responses from Brother owners. That wasn't what the ad stated. It stated thread for Brother machines. The best I could find out was, that it was made in India, but they wouldn't specifically say it was made by Brother for Brother machines. When I received it, at first I was a little disappointed, then I e-mailed them and they told me to give a few spools a try and if I wasn't completely satisfied with it, I could return it and they would refund my money. I thought that was reasonable and gave it a try and it stitched out beautifully. So I thanked them and kept the thread. The only problem was breakage, it seems a little weak, but using a large eyed embroidery needle took care of that.They told me to adjust my tensions on my machine, but I didn't need to touch the tensions by using the larger eyed embroidery needle. Overall, it's basically good thread, beautiful colors and shine to it.
