(More customer reviews)We picked this fan for its looks. We are rebuilding an 1868 victorian and every piece we select has to fit two criteria: fit the spirit of the rehab and be unusual. This product, with its two blades and spherical, rotating motor housing certainly met the criteria. The great surprise is how well built it is. The unit weighs at least 20 lbs due to its cast iron structure, which affords it great stability. It feels like it will still be around in 150 years... It's also very smooth and quiet. The instructions could be a little clearer but with a little thinking, it was easy to assemble in about 20 minutes.
