(More customer reviews)I am very happy with this item. I'm the pie lady for our family gatherings, and I'd been transporting the pies in cardboard boxes. I love using this food tote instead. I was worried about the handle coming off, from the weight of two pies, but it worked like a champ. I bought this particular tote because it's not perfectly round--when using round pie/cake totes, it's very hard to get the pie or cake out. This tote has space on both sides where you can get your hands in to lift out the plate or pie pan. One more point in favor of this tote: very reasonably priced. I looked at the Tupperware site, to see what they had, and their round (in my mind, less desirable for the reason explained above) pie/cake carrier costs an arm and a leg, as do many others I found by googling.
Note to the person who was unhappy with the tote as a cookie-transporter: How about using a plate, or just taking the divider out?
