(More customer reviews)Big Boss, a title that belies how relatively small this portable grinder is but very large in versatility.
First things, first. This is a portable grinder. It is a multi-purpose grinder with a 300-watt motor. But, it shouldn't be considered a replacement for an average food processor. It cannot handle big jobs.
However, after coming up with some fairly common uses such as making a smoothie, grinding fresh coffee beans and dicing vegetables for the main dish, this is an absolute essential product for any kitchen. (I am very skeptical, however, of the company's claim that it will crush ice. Doing so will quickly result in damaged blades.)

6 medium size strawberries
1 blue plum
1 banana
1 cup blueberry yogurt
1 ½ cup of low fat milk
12 oz. Smoothie (homemade)--- $1.79

"Rotisserie chicken with Teriyaki Vegetables and Rice & Black beans"
Rice made with dice onions* and tomato puree*.
The onions didn't dice that well. Perhaps this was because of the contour of the blender's blade but the tomatoes pureed within 30 seconds.
For around $25, the Big Boss will save you money (by limiting your use of your larger food processors) and save you time and effort in the kitchen.

The price is definitely right and would make a great gift for anyone.
