Like ballpark (I mean, where they actually play baseball, people) hotdogs, but better, because we did them over coals. They had a perfectly browned, slightly crisp, skin. Was it a fluke? It was not. Time after time this device has delivered franks of perfection. We wash the metal part in the dishwasher, but the wooden handle in the sink. It now has a brown coating of burnt on grease, but it hasn't affected its performance in any way. Is it worth it? Oh, yes.
